Abundance Consciousness: The Consciousness Shift That Will Change Your Life

Many times throughout our lives, we are raised with beliefs that resources are limited: “Money is hard to come by,” “There’s not enough opportunity for everyone,” or “Things are getting harder.” But these thoughts keep us in a scarcity mindset and distance us from the energy of abundance. Shifting to an abundance mindset can open the door to a healthier, happier, and richer life. So how can we make this change happen? Here are some ways to integrate abundance mindset into your daily life!

Scarcity consciousness is a limited worldview. People who live with this consciousness believe that everything is insufficient, act out of fear of loss, and see the success of others as a threat. Abundance consciousness, on the other hand, believes that there is enough resources in the universe for everyone. People with abundance consciousness trust that opportunities are limitless and live life with positive energy.

- Develop a Habit of Gratitude. Gratitude is appreciating what you have. Every day, before you start your day or before you go to bed, think about what you have and sincerely give thanks. For example, you can practice gratitude by saying, “I am so happy to be healthy today,” “I am grateful to be with my loved ones.” The energy of gratitude attracts more abundance into your life.

-Replace negative thoughts in your mind with positive affirmations. For example, repeat phrases like, “Everything is going well in my life,” “Money comes to me easily and happily.” Saying these phrases out loud in front of the mirror in the morning or writing them on your phone screen will help transform your subconscious mind.

-Be Sharing. Abundance consciousness understands the importance of sharing. Sharing generously allows the universe to bring more to you. For example, donating to a street musician, helping a friend, or volunteering on a project increases this energy.

-The day you get your paycheck, spend some of it on something you love. For example, treat yourself to a nice meal or buy yourself a small gift. This sends a message to the universe that “More is coming.”

-Make an Abundance Jar. Get a jar and write down one thing you have gained or appreciated each day and drop it in. For example, “I got compliments at work today, I am very lucky,” or “A friend bought me coffee, I am abundant.” Over time, you will notice the abundance in your life more as you see the jar overflowing.

When a friend gets a promotion at work, celebrate their success instead of getting jealous. This will boost your abundance energy and attract similar opportunities. Or when you’re shopping at a store, instead of saying, “I can’t afford it,” say, “It’s a sign of abundance that I can afford this.” Give the money you spend with joy and trust that more will come your way.

Becoming abundantly conscious may not happen overnight, but it is possible to develop this awareness with small, regular steps. Being grateful, thinking positively, being generous, and believing in yourself will help you attract the energy of abundance. Remember, the universe is always working with you. Whatever you believe in, it will bring to you. So surround your life with abundance and magnify that energy.
